Soft & Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix together butter, sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Mix in peanut butter and blend in egg an vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix until just combined
  • Scoop dough out and shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place two inches apart on baking sheets. Using a fork, slightly press the fork into the top of the ball and then the opposite way doing the same.
  • Bake cookies, one sheet at a time for about 9-10 minutes. Let cool on a baking sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
