I love walking into my grandmas and smelling freshly baked banana bread. In fact, whenever I smell banana bread, period I think of my grandma. This Grandmas Best Banana Bread came straight from the source and she was so kind to share it with us!
I have been really been getting into baking lately and I am in love with this mixer! It is so cute and it works really well. Furthermore, it is cost efficient as well! Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Shortening
- Pinch of Salt
- 3 Mashed Bananas
- 3 Tbsp milk
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Instructions
First you are going to mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl. I love this Mixer, it has a lot of great settings and works very well!
Next, you will pour into a Loaf Pan. You could also use mini loaf pan baking tins! if you wanted to gift!
Finally, you will bake at 375 for one hour. Allow to cool for one hour!
Can you freeze banana bread?
You share can! You can freeze banana bread for a lot time but its best to use within 3-4 months. Anything past that will likely develop freezer burn and affect the taste and texture.
