Its almost Super Bowl time and I have an delish Creamy Garlic Cheeseball recipe for you! This quick and easy recipe is a crowd pleaser, and cost efficient too!
I keep mine Creamy Garlic Cheeseball fresh at potlucks, parties and holidays with a Cheese Ball Dome– that way it can safely sit out while your guest peruse the delish food!
The nice thing about this cheeseball is it could be served warm as well! Simply heat it up before serving!

Ingredients for Creamy Garlic Cheeseball
- 8oz cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- A pinch of Sesame Seeds and Chives to coat ball in
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese until it is smooth. I sometimes put i in the microwave for 25 seconds or so just to soften it a bit.
- Add the garlic, sour cream, cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Place a pinch of sesame seeds and a pinch of chives on a plate, form the cheese mixture into a ball and then roll your ball as to coat it with your sesame seeds and chives.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve with crackers
Want to change it up?
- Switch out the mozzarella cheese for sharp cheddar cheese.
- Add chopped green onions for onion flavor.
- Want even more garlic flavor? Add ½ teaspoon of garlic powder.
- Add red pepper flakes for a bit of spice.
- Add nuts on on the outside for more of a crunch!
