
‘Tis the season for potlucks, holiday get-togethers and FOOTBALL! I am always looking for a quick and easy dip that is sure to please at any gathering or function, and Creamy Artichoke Dip is always #1 on my list! There are only a few ingredients and it literally takes less that 30 minutes from start to finish!
I love to eat mine with carrots, but veggies, chips, breads all make the cut to pair with this delicious dip!
What you will need:
- 8 ounce can artichoke hearts (not marinated), drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 8 ounces cream cheese , softened
- 1 1/4 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic , minced
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayo, cream cheese, garlic, and 1 cup of parmesan cheese. Combine until smooth.
- Stir in chopped artichoke hearts.
- Place in a greased backing dish (most pan sizes around 8×8 or a little smaller will work.
- Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Serve with crackers, bread, or veggies
Pro Tips!
- If you are in a time crunch, you could make it ahead of time, and bake it the day of. Allow it to sit on the counter about 30 minutes before baking.
- Need a little bit more? Add spinach and make it Spinach Artichoke Dip!
- Need a more low fat option? Substitute Greek Yogurt in place of the Sour Cream!
