One of our favorite things to do is to experiment on the Traeger. We are rarely disappointed with anything that comes off the smoker. The worst part is waiting!
How much to buy?
1lb of uncooked smoked pork should be able to server around 1-2 people, so an 8lb bone-in pork butt will serve about 12-16 people. I like to make extras, however because they make great leftovers!
How to Prepare the Pork Butt
There isn’t much preparation needed to get the pork ready for the smoker. Most come pre-trimmed meaning you won’t have to do anything other than season and smoke!
