These Best Ever Chocolate Cookies are a family favorite at our house, and the first to go when we make them! This is probably the most simple cookie recipe out there without making it for a box. It yields about 4 dozen, so perfect for throwing in the freezer to pull out at a later time!
We love using these cookies in ice cream sandwiches! You could top them with marshmallows and toss them in the microwave and drizzle with chocolate!

- Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes
- Cool on Wire Rack
My best cookie tips
- Butter should be soft enough that a pressed finger will leave and indent, but not too soft to where your finger can press all the way through. If its too soft, your cookies may spread
- These pre-cut parchment sheets are perfect for cookie baking!
- I like to use a cookie scoop to portion out my dough so that all cookies are the same size. I typically use #40 (1.5 tbsp) or #20 (3 tbsp) schoops. Baking time does need to be adjusted if your using a larger scoop.
- Cookie dough freezes well! Try doubling your batch and freezing half of it for a later date
- You can store these cookies at room temperature for about a week, but are best within the first few days.
