Best Ever Air Fryer French Fries

Air Fryer French Fries

I have been on an air fryer kick- it’s simple, easier, and let’s face it- much healthier! In addition, I also have been trying to find some easy and tasty sides to go with our meals. Furthermore, these Best Ever Air Fryer French Fries are the perfect addition to any meat entree, and they only take a few ingredients that you likely already have in your pantry!

What you will need for Air Fryer French Fries

Instructions

First- slice your potatoes! I try to make mine a similar size, about 1/4 inch thick. This way, they’ll all cook at the same rate. However, I don’t peel mine as the skin helps keep them crisp as they cook.

After that, toss your fries with olive oil, salt, and whatever herbs you wish! I added some garlic in mine too!

Next you you are going to spread the cut potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket or shelf with a little space between each one. The space allows the hot air to come in contact with all sides of the fries, which make them golden brown and crisp! Air fry them at 380 for around 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.

Air Fryer Tips:

  1. Work in batches. Don’t cram them in all at once or they will not get crispy. Furthermore, You may need to cook 2-3 batches.
  2. If they aren’t crispy yet, keep cooking. The exact timing will depend on your air fryer and your batch. Check at the 12 minute mark but if they need more time, let them have more time!
  3. If you had to make multiple batches, toss them all together in the end and air fry for 1-2 minutes to warm the earlier batches back up!
