Since I literally have been making EVERYTHING on the Ninja Foodi Grill, I thought, why not salmon? And the Lemon Pepper Salmon on Ninja Foodi Grill did not disappoint!
This recipe takes just a few ingredients:
- Avocado oil
- Sea salt
- Garlic powder
- Pepper
- Lemon
- Salmon
This is one of the easiest recipes you will find! First, you are going to place the salmon down on a plate. Pat them clean with a paper towel and then drizzle avocado oil on them. Make sure to rub some avocado oil on the skin too!
After that, you will season the salmon fillets with garlic powder, sea salt and ground black pepper. I like to have A LOT of black pepper on mine!
After, you will squirt a little fresh lemon juice over the salmon. Because lemon is very acidic, you will not need to marinade the salmon in lemon for long.
On your Foodi Grill, choose grill and 10 minutes. Then select fish if you plan on using your thermometer.
Although the FDA recommends cooking salmon to 145 degrees farenheit, a lot of people feel salmon is overcooked at this temperature. I prefer to grill salmon to 135 to 140 degrees to allow for carryover cooking. You always want to allow your salmon to rest 5-10 minutes after it comes off the grill to allow carryover cooking.
Press start on the grill and allow it to preheat. When it is done, you can insert the thermometer in the thickest part of the salmon and grill it. It only took mine about 5 minutes to get to that temperature, but make sure if you are not using the probe that comes with the grill to check the temp with a thermometer.
I also threw vegetables in mine as well and cooked it for the same amount of time!
