Our past trip to Boston was both exciting and nostalgic. I had been to Boston a couple of times as a kid, but I love revisiting places as an adult. What you see through your children eyes versus adult eyes are two totally different experiences! So here are Things to See in Boston!
It’s physically impossible to see everything in Boston in one trip, so I highly suggest a Duck Boat Tour. This tour goes on land and water and shows you some of the top sites to see in Boston. They are relatively inexpensive for the amount of Boston that you cover, and each one is different. You want to book these in advance because they do fill up fast!
Visiting Fenway Park in general is a great idea, they do have awesome tours that you can learn more about the history of this ballpark. However, we attended two concerts, (Pink and Fallout Boy) and it was a lifetime experience we will never forget! Visiting a concert at Fenway Park is on a different level than a ball game. They have concert series in the Summer, and you can see Summer 2025 Lineup HERE!
One thing we didn’t plan on doing, but I am super glad we did was visit the USS Constitution. I visited this as a child and I remember thinking how monstrous it was. This time around, with my adult eyes, I couldnt get over all of the historic details, the way of life on the ship, and the exuberant amount of care that this vessel contains! It definatly is a must-see!
Castle Island was another one I visited as a child, and I enjoyed coming back this time around as an adult. There are a lot of events that take place on Castle Island, so make sure you check out there Events Page in advance of your trip! Also, while on Castle Island, make sure to stop at Sullivans!
We actually stumbled on the Holocaust Memorial as we were eating the first day, and it was absolutely breathtaking. These towers of memories are absolutely phenomenal, and worth a trip to see! Take a moment to read the different stones around the memorial, and close your eyes for a moment and allow give a moment of silence.
Although not located in Boston, we recommend taking the ferry to Salem. Salem has always been on my bucket list and I would absolutely go again.
