One of my favorite go-to breakfast recipes on the weekend is our Bistro Style Breakfast Sandwich! The kids love them, and you can make them in different variations. Use sausage, ham, or bacon and try different cheeses too! Substitute the bagel for English muffins or a croissant!
I always make my breakfast sandwiches on an Electric Griddle or Electric Frying Pan. I always cook my eggs in my bacon grease too- ya ya I know that it’s not healthy, but its darn good!
I also love using an Egg Mold– it essentially is a circle mold that keeps your eggs contained in one circle so its not going all over the place, making it easy to flip and the perfect size for a breakfast sandwich! These work for pancakes too!
You could pair this Bistro Style Breakfast Sandwich with some breakfast potatoes or hashbrowns or even a side of fresh fruit!

Tips for Cooking Eggs
- You should flip an egg when the egg whites are mostly set and opaque, and there’s only about a half-inch of unset whites around the yolk.
- Use a wide, flexible spatula:Â A wide, flexible spatula, like a fish spatula, is gentle and forgiving on the eggs
- Cook on low heat:Â High heat can cause the whites to brown and the yolk to become too firm
- Cook for different levels of doneness:Â The length of time you cook the egg on the second side determines the level of doneness
- Over-easy:Â Cook for about 30 seconds for a runny yolkÂ
- Over-medium:Â Cook for about 60 seconds for a semi-solid yolkÂ
- Over-hard:Â Cook for 90 seconds or more for a firm yolk
