5 Things to do in Cleveland

Derek and I recently visited Cleveland Ohio to go to a Mod Sun and Honestav Concert. We could have gone closer to where we are located but I had to work and I was not missing out on seeing Honestav and Mod Sun this year! When we saw they were going to be in Cleveland, Ohio we thought hey, why not! However, we had very low expectations for Cleveland. It wasn’t necessarily on either of our bucket lists, but I am here to tell you, we were BLOWN away with how beautiful it was, and how much there is to do! So here is 5 Things to do in Cleveland, Ohio!

  1. Visit an NFL Game

I am going to tell you something we learned at the Cleveland Browns Game- nobody hates the Cleveland Browns more than their own fans! It was entertaining to watch, and we were here for it! The fact that we weren’t fans of either team playing actually made the game super enjoyable! We could appreciate plays made by the Bengals and the Browns, but of course as Chiefs fans we didn’t want the Bengals to win!

2. Visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

We happened to be in town during the 2024 Induction Ceremony, so the Rock and Roll House of Fame was especially poppin’! It was incredibly crowded so somewhat hard to really enjoy each of the displays, but I still do not regret it one bit! Its incredible how much has been accumulated over the years from these artists!

3. Catch a Concert

Our main reason for traveling from South Dakota to Cleveland was for the Mod Sun and Honestav Concert at the House of Blues- Conveniently located downtown. It was a very cute, quant venue that we were completely blown away with. Did I mention that I got to meet Mod Sun on my trip?

4. Catch a comedy at The Funny Bone

While we were in Cleveland, Derek noticed that Gary Owen was going to be performing at The Funny Bone Comedy Club, and we did not hesitate to buy VIP Tickets! The show was absolutely phenomenal, and defiantly a lot of laughs were had! The openers were quite funny as well, so we defiantly gave it 5 out of 5 stars!

5. Enjoy the Local Eats!

Cleveland has a lot of food culture, but I am going to touch base on just a couple of amazing spots we hit! First, we thoroughly enjoyed the Beerhead Bar and Eatery in the Cleveland Flats. This amazing bar had great entertainment and fabulous food, and we were not disappointed.

Another place I want to touch on is MGK’s Coffee Shop- The 27 Club Coffee! I didn’t have high expectation for the food there, but we ordered the Flatbread Pepperoni Pizza and DAMN. That is all I can say. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL! You MUST try the Lithium Lemonade!
